September 13, 2002
Two weekends ago, we raced on September 13, 2002 at Hutchinson Raceway Park.
Hutchinson had received several inches of rain the night before and early that day,
leaving doubt that we might not race, but things cleared up and it was go time!
Ryan raced in Heat 3 and placed 4th, trailing behind Larry McDaniels, Eddie Tidwell, and Earl Kinderknecht.
In the A-Feature, there were several cautions and Ryan tried many groove combinations to gain lead,
and even during one of the cautions we had the 52 Machine looked at, because the front nose received
a hit from a lead weight of someone else's car. We were able to finish the race, but could only maintain an
11th place finish.
