RACE REPORTS

This last week, McAninch Motorsports competed at the historic ½ mile speedway in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
This would be the first TORA race of the season.
We would start the season off with a front row outside starting position in the heat race.
Ryan jumped out in the lead and would lead every lap of the heat race; He was challenged on
the topside by reigning TORA champion Larry McDaniels. It was a hard fought battle with McDaniels
pulling up beside Ryan at times but when the checkered flag dropped it would be Ryan who prevailed.
The 30-lap feature would show case promoter Lonnie Smith on the pole and Ryan front row outside.
It would take 4 restarts to get the caution prone race started. Ryan quickly jumped out in front
leading the first 13 laps until McDaniels passed Ryan on the high side. The remaining laps of the
race we could only challenge for the lead one more time.
When the checkered flag dropped we would wind up 2nd.
Our next race is at Thunderhill Speedway located in Mayetta, KS.
