RACE REPORTS
June 20, 2004
The last couple of TORA Races scheduled had been canceled due too rain. Weather was not an issue on Sunday,
June 20, 2004 as McAninch Motorsports took on the Banks of Belleville, the fastest ½ mile dirt track in the Midwest
for the first time this year.
There were almost 30 Late Models in attendance competing that night for the victory. Ryan had a tough heat race,
as he would have to compete against John Anderson, Kelly Boen, Kyle Berck and many other experienced drivers.
Ryan finished 4th in his heat race.
The A-Feature was intense! Ryan McAninch started the feature in seventh row inside and brought his car to the top
five before the yellow had been thrown on lap 11. The unexpected happened on lap 13, as Ryan lost power to the 52
machine, taking him out of the race and sending him to the pits.
The next time McAninch Motorsports will take on the high banks will be August 28, 2004.
